15th Annual Tom's Turkey Drive
The 15th annual Tom's Turkey Drive is the premier turkey and holiday food drive in the Inland Northwest. Food and money raised mean Thanksgiving meals for area families and also alleviate hunger during the holiday season and into the new year. Donations are first used to help families in need at Thanksgiving. Gifts also support Second Harvest's work to get free food to where it's needed in the region.
Hunger knows no season and nearly half of emergency food clients in Spokane are children. Last year, Tom's Turkey Drive helped by collecting 11,000 meals and more than $80,000. Go to Second Harvest to learn more about the pioneering charitable food distributor in the Inland Northwest.
Join us for Tom's Turkey Drive. Please donate online to help us reach our goal to raise enough food and funds to feed 11,000 families. You can also visit any Spokane or Colfax area Rosauers store on Nov. 21 and 22, where you can purchase $20 bags of food to donate.
A broad base of food donors and dedicated volunteers help Second Harvest transform every donated dollar into six pounds of food – about five meals – for hungry people. Your support will make a difference!
- A $20 donation at any Spokane or Colfax area Rosauers on Nov. 21 and 22 supplies a fantastic holiday dinner for a family of four.
- A $5 donation helps Second Harvest distribute 30 pounds of donated food (about 25 meals).
- A $30 donation is turned into 180 pounds of donated food.
- A $60 donation provides 300 meals for people in need.
